Hi My name is Mele- Foli and My name is Malia

We are wearing our traditional Tongan dress. We are very excited to wear our Ta'ovala for Tongan language week.

We have been learning how to make Kaposi patterns.

First we drew the Kaposi outline.
Then we used black and brown traditional colors.
After we finished coloring in the Kaposi. We cut the patterns into squares.
Finally we put our patterns together and made a traditional mat.

We had fun putting our patterns together ! YAY TEAMWORK!!
